1、 A master's or PhD degree from a top engineering school.
2、 Good written English and clear verbal English. Time spent in English-speaking countries a big plus.
3、 At least two to three years' experience in software engineering, preferably with Web technologies.
4、 A strong commitment to quality, code maintainability, and automated testing.
5、 A background in object oriented design and development.
6、 A thorough understanding of the core Java/J2EE stack, particularly JDBC, Servlets, and JSP, with an emphasis on multi-threaded architectures, performance tuning, and optimization.
7、 Experience with database schema design, query optimization, and – ideally – and understanding of MySQL administration.
8、 Familiarity with Eclipse, CVS (including branching and merging), Apache ANT, Linux, and Bash or Perl scripting is a strong plus.  
This position may involve occasional travel to the United States for training and knowledge transfer.
